Anyone else : READ ON !! (vking1)

I know there is a topic in here 'great songs/bands recently discovered' but the following jewel simply deserves more than to be listed on a page 7 or 8 in that topic...

Being in this business for over 30 years by now, very, and I mean very few bands impress me nowadays but this one simply BLEW me away from the very first note I heard...

I am talking about BATTLE BEAST !
This Finnish band has just released their amazing debut STEEL

Best damn album I heard in years. Pounding drums, spinal destroying riffs, great chorusses in the vein of the 80's Metal Gods, brain splitting guitar solo's, and above all : one of the best female voices EVER in metal : Nitte Valo.

Fingerlicking true metal hymns about what it is all about ! (metal2)

Every single song on this amazing album gets me moving. I haven' t felt like this about an album or a band since Falconer and Pyramaze.

coño i love battle beast, amazing band, this kids got it right, this is the kinda band you have to show to people who thinks the modern metal scene is all about screaming mallrats and over tattooed little rock stars like the ones you see in the covers of metal hammer and other toilet paper out there, i think we owe a lot to the internet nowadays in heavy metal, with this big opening, kids are reaching out to the old spirit a lot easier than before, and when they do catch that old spirit, we end up getting awesome stuff like this, cheers for the post shadowman.

Not bad. They kind of remind me of Kim Goss' old band Sinergy: lots of pop hooks but not much meat.

That amazing opening riff of Battle Beast "Enter The Metal World" sounds like something I heard before in the 1980s,
like a Judas Priest or KickAxe riff ?
