If my memory is correct there was a movie called "Black Roses" which had Lizzy Borden's Me Against the World as the main track, it was a horror movie about a band that turned its audience into monsters when they played or something like that. It's been a great many years since I've seen it and I don't know about a DVD release of the movie.

IMDB doesn't mention Borden's song so maybe my mind has gone. Got bad reviews. Anyone else remember this 1988 movie?

Putting aside movies that stir in us metalheads feelings of grandeur and strike sensitive chords, like horror films or epic movies like Braveheart, Conan The Barbarian, Lord Of The Rings or cheesy sword & sorcery b'movies from the '80's, like Dragonslayer, Deathstalker, Ladyhawke etc, I am thinking of movies with STRICTLY hard rock/heavy metal references (in terms of music, characters, style etc) like :
*Trick Or Treat (of course!)
*Rock 'n' Roll Nightmare (ridiculous horror b' movie starring Jon Mikl Thor)
*Hard Rock Zombies (another horror b' movie nasty!)
*Crossroads (guitar playing Ralph Macchio of Karate Kid challenges the Devil himself to a guitar duel, if I remember well!)
*The Story Of Anvil (excellent rockumentary)

Recently I listened soundtracks to movie "Crystal heart", pretty good AOR/ Hard Rock songs . But I still haven't found this movie with Russian translation, so I can't tell anything about the plot.

Recently watched it on a DVD with special features where they visit this guy's house and he shows them through his awesome collection of thousands of heavy metal records and memorabilia, it is AMAZING!
