Spartan Warrior (UK) are recording a new album (untitled) (NWOBHM)

It seems that british NWOBHM band Spartan Warrior is currently recording a new album. Didn't find any info about the name of upcoming album so I suppose it's yet to be untitled. According to their posts it might be a mixture of new songs and few older unrecorded ones seeing daylight the first time. Here are some quotations from their Facebook site:

"15th Mar 2012

At Spartan Warrior rehearsal as I write this.
Song 4 now fully rehearsed so we now have five songs written and of them 4 ready to record.
Dan has just shown the lads the structure to a song he has been working on and the guys are rattling it out now... Song 6 is a work in progress.
Recording starts Friday this week.... Watch this space
Dave"

"1st Jan 2012

Well here we are 2012. Spartan Warrior are mad keen to get started this year. so whats in store? we've already started writing the next album and maybe do some older unrecorded ones too. Also we would love to get back out to mainland Europe and show people the new lineup, to the oldies in the band to us it sounds powerful driving and energetic and we feel like things have been stepped up a notch for certain. It would be nice to get some UK shows too in fact our first one is at the end of January. So to sum things up for 2012 - more festivals and gigs and a 4th album done . Bring it on!"

And some more quotations considering upcoming album by interview of Behind The Veil Website's with Dave Wilkinson of Spartan Warrior:

"We have started writing for the next CD. We have five songs fully written and a load of others at various stages of writing. Three of those songs have found their way into the live shows already. We will be starting demoing the new material in the next few weeks and I would like to think that we will have a new CD out by April/May 2013... could be sooner or later... you just never can tell with these things."

Spartan Warrior have released two quality NWOBHM releases in the 80's called Steel 'N Chains in 1983 and S/t in 1984. They reunited recently and came out with new album Behind The Closed Eyes in 2010 - and are now working their 2nd album after the reunion.
