Formed in San Antonio(Texas)in 1983 Syrus was a talented
progressive power metal band whose music never gained
what it deserved(and we can say the same for many other
bands,U.S.A. were plenty of great groups now slipped into
time's oblivion...);only some demo tapes were released
at the time(1987's demo featured Ray Balderama on vocals,
later he was known as Ray Alder in Fates Warning and Pete
Perez,later with Riot,played bass guitar in the 1988's demo)
and finally in 2009 a rare cd compilation of these demos was
published by the greek label Steel Legacy Records;two live songs
were included as bonus tracks and were taken from this rare
live bootleg,i received it in my now long gone days of
tape trading and,for all i know,this is the first time it
surfaces on the web,enjoy it!!!

After so many years the condition of the audio on my tape deteriorated
(not to mention that the original itself was not that good...)so i
remastered the songs(well,at least i tried...),i also added one of the
original tracks just in case you like to compare them and made a sort of
artwork that is included in the rar/archive.
