So... I have dug out and ripped some old Metallic Overdrive radio shows. Metallic Overdrive was a KILLER radio show here in Rochester that started sometime in 1982 or 1983 and was hosted by Bob "The Warhead" Thomas. It was on late Saturday nights for 4 or 5 hours. I discovered the show in Sept. 1985 and was a faithful listener for several years. I occasionally recorded an entire show. I'm going to share download links to some portions of shows, as well as the one complete show I have from 1987. By the late 1980's the show moved to another station and took over another metal radio shows timeslot. The show fizzled out by around 1992.

The only bell it rings is that i recall to see it on trade lists on the end of the 90's as a Melodic Metal band and i forgot the rest...

I know practically nothing about Perennial. The Warhead talks about them a bit during the mic break. I had to do some research to see who they were. They released a privately pressed album and they're not in MA.

Thanks for posting these! Man those were great times. I believe I've got a whole box of Metallic Overdrive recordings in a box somewhere. I used to record it every Saturday night to discover new bands and then would head up to Lakeshore to find/buy them on vinyl.
