This is the first album released by Fatima Hill, a band hailing from Sapporo in Hokkaido Island, Japan. In my opinion, Fatima Hill deliver some of the most majestic, powerful and lyrical metal music ever produced. Their captivating compositions are augmented by the performance of one of the best and most unique sounding female vocalists, Ms. Yuko Meguro.

Further to the post, I just found out that in 2017, the band had released for purchase only in iTunes, their fantastic 'Beatrice' demo from 1994, in a digital remastering edition. I got it for a few bucks and the sound is perfect.

'Long Cold Winter' is an anthem with one of the most astonishing female metal vocal performances I have ever listened to.

What an amazing song! Enjoyed every single bit of it! It has a deep melancholic feeling in it, plus epicness. I had images of a brave knight who had won against the tough, fearsome dragon and slowly riding on his horse to his domain.
