Info: Here is Raven's 1987 album on Atlantic. As I said on my "Stay Hard" post, the Raven Atlantic records were critically panned when they were released. "Stay Hard" was more commercial than the band's NWOBHM classics. The band hit a commercial peak when they released, "The Pack is Back." Raven fans rebelled in droves when this release hit the streets, due to the inclusion of a cover of the Spencer-Davis Group hit "Gimme Some Lovin'," as well as the use of horns in a few of the songs. With the "Life's A Bitch" album, however, Raven righted the ship. It is really energetic and heavy in the classic Raven manner. But I think after the previous few releases, many fans didn't notice the return to form. I have this album on vinyl, but the cassette has a bonus track. This recording turned out to be very strong. I picked this cassette up at a flea market for 50 cents. I didn't include scans of my cassette, because the cassette came in a case without the artwork. I also have the Mayhem CD release of this. I just really like having different recordings of releases. I'm nostalgic when it comes to the sources of my recordings (vinyl, cassette, 8-track etc.). I really enjoy recording vinyl and cassettes. Hope you like this.
