A Compilation double-CD released in 1999. It's a tribute to Iron Maiden. Disc 1 has 12 bands doing Iron Maiden cover-songs. Disc 2 has an original song from each band (except Innocent Exile who do a 2nd cover because they were strictly an Iron Maiden cover-band). My band, Night Conquers Day, was contacted by the label and we recorded our cover-song just for this re-issue. The original song comes from the 2nd CD "Rebellion Is The Art Of Survival", but it's a different mix than on the album. Some bands/covers are good, others are crap. It's hit or miss like most cover-song albums, but's it's cool hear what the bands actually sound like as well. Cool idea.
The 2-CD Comp comes in a fold-open 8 panel digipak with a huge booklet with a page for each band.
