Well,I'll open this thread for the ones who are looking for those non-existent/unknown lyrics of some records and for the ones who are looking for an english translation of the lyrics of other lenguages.

-I'll only be able to translate/rewrite the spanish ones so all kinds of help with other lenguages or ideas for improving this thread/topic are wellcomed.
-If you know spanish too and you think you can do the work better or quicker you can do so by posting the rewrite/translation you did/found.

Just request in a post or a PM saying the band name and the song and all other information that may help finding the song/album.

-For making easier the work follow this rules for this topic:
1-Write Band/Album/Song which translation you want to request.
2-Especifications of what you want if needed.
3-If you have something to say (ideas,mid-offtopic,comments,etc) write them at this point.

Make this sections easy to differentiate by separating them wiht an empty line or something else.
If the translation it's incongruous tell me and I'll try to fix it.
The same if I wrote something wrong elsewhere.

The rules are for trying to order the topic but if you feel creative/inspired i'll not be the one who will stop you,they aren't strict.

PD:Glad you liked the idea but this will be more a work of all the ''benevolent creatures'' here that want/can help.This goes for the same reason strappado posted there,the time.

I'll do the requested translations but now on don't expect too much speed from me,i've experienced the ''suffering ''of re-writing the lyrics when the songs have parts when you don't understand anything even beeing in your lenguage.

The song "Black Widow" was just as I imagined it to be and the artwork fits perfect to it!.
Could never imagine that my favorite song "El Poder del Dinero" was about boring money though.. :P

Many years ago I translated most of ARIA's lyrics (Russian to English) and some of EPIDEMIA and CATHARSIS (and a few songs by other bands) as well. I am not a native Russian speaker and not fluent at all, but with aid of dictionary and grammar books I think I did a decent job. If anyone is interested I can try and find my translations. At the time I did them, other translations were not available on the net. Perhaps they are now, I don't know, I've never looked. But I translated 50 or so ARIA songs and a dozen or so EPIDEMIA songs and various ones by other bands.

Also I know German fairly well and did translations of RAMMSTEIN and other bands, but these are widely available on the net...

Also I translated some Czech songs too - for instance all the songs on the Czech-language versions of Křižáci and Anděl na Útěku (KREYSON), I translated for myself. They bear almost zero resemblence to the English-language versions of those albums - because the English-language versions of those albums used totally new lyrics and have usually totally nothing to do with the original lyrics. That's why the English-language versions of those albums are crap, with worthless horrid lyrics, and the original Czech-language versions are excellent! Whoever did the English text on the English-language versions should be shot, what botched abortions! I read in an interview that it was a German friend of the band who did it, and this person did not know Czech nor English! That would explain it, because the lyrics having nothing to do with the original Czech, and also are the most insipid English possible.

This is some interesting info! Never thought about that to be honest.

I guess they gave the guy some rough idea of what the song is about and left the rest to his "creativity"... After all, had they been capable of proof reading the "translations" (rather interpretations with some ignorance thrown in for good measure), they might as well have translated it themselves. Thus they were probably doing what actor did in early talkies when filming over and over again in various languages: they just said stuff without having any idea what they were saying...

I am quite imoressed by your lanbguage skills btw! Do you have European roots? Yeah, I know... most Americans have them, but you know what I mean....

Taken a bit look to the web and looks there are, at most, translations of the titles of the songs (in the case of Aria) and one or so songs of Epidemia,so I think someone wil appreciate these lyrics as well as the true lyrics of Kreyson.
For Rammstein there may be, as you said, much material on the net so I think that we'll don't need those lyrics here.

And yes, Strappado, the song is about boring money, but this is for sure one of those bands able to sing about coffee or even ''Hello Kitty'' making us feel they're saying something transcendental.

Anyway, I like the song even understanding it.

Thats the problem Strappado, can't find them anywhere on the net. Booklet? it's pretty much impossible to find Ex oblivione (the album) in Venezuela, so yup, i guess you know how i got it

What is this song about, i read in wikipedia the tittle means "Mr. Peder and His Sister" but i don't know the rest of the lyrics, i love this song and this band and i would really like to know what they're saying, what the damned thing is about, i hope is not much to ask swede, you'll find the lyrics easily in the metal archives at Falconer's page.
