Debut CD released in 1995. This is a style of music that emanated out of the black metal scene. First there was Mortiis, then Darkness Enshroud, Shadowcaster, Profane Grace, Equimanthorn, etc. It's NOT metal. It's dark ambient music, sometimes called 'Dark Dungeon Music'. But this album is even deeper and creepier, a bit of an Abruptum feel to it at times. Also like those weird songs Celtic Frost did ("Danse Macabre" & "Tears In A Prophet's Dream"). Very ritualistic and just plain DARK! The vocals are black metal....totally evil. Still going today after 7 CD's. Recommended if you have an open mind.
