Midnight Sun is a great band with a very classic sounding AOR / Heavy metal approach. Their first 3 albums are closer to AOR and their final album Metal Machine is heavier than the rest.

This album specifically I think is the one I like the most, some tracks with massive riffs and really nice vocal hooks. Look at Bad Blood, Don't Get me Wrong, Kissed By An Angel, and the intrumental Eye of the Beholder. They're all beautiful tracks! Love 'em.
