A very nice CD, melodic yet heavy. Metal Archives lists them as speed/thrash, but maybe that was due to earlier material, as this is very much power/traditional heavy metal, with some epic songs as well as a nice power ballad. I wrote to the band on their website to buy this CD from them, and they sent it to me from England. If you like this, please support them, it's a very nice digipak CD.

WITCHCROSS,superb epic-power metal!!A cd for our friend ACHILLES to worship,like i do!!Instantly i knew from the titles that a Greek was involved!The ancient Hellenic language in the intro of "SPARTA" raises the hair from my spine!!A song about the strategy genious of "BELISARIUS",he he,mr.SARANTIS and co they studied their history lessons well and their power metal ones too!!Excellent songs,well crafted arrangements,talented musicians and a killer singer who delivers both in the mellower parts and the mighty ones!!An unknown mighty weapon of power metal!!Can't wait to find and hear their other efforts too!!For now many thanx and hails to WITCHCROSS for this shining piece of steel!! porosimetal
