After the split of Lunar Sex(a self titled album in 1982,btw they are
not in Metal Archives yet...or were they deleted???), Stefano Toni and
Claudia Ruti formed Scarlet releasing the first demo in 1985,in 1987
Ruti was replaced by another female singer (Beth Valero) and the band
changed name to Rock Rose releasing the demo "Pick Up The Rose" the same year,
in 1988 they changed name again to Scarlet and the male singer Jon Pearo joined the
band releasing this demo in 1989;they also recorded an album that stayed and still is
unreleased until today because the lack of interest of the labels and quitted,
some of the former members soon joined the prog rock band Sailor Free and

The real name of Jon Pearo is Gianpiero Ingrassia,he is the son
of Ciccio Ingrassia(famous italian comedian actor),he is a well
known actor and singer of musical too(worked in the italian versions
of Grease,Cabaret,Jesus Christ Superstar etc.) and a great fan of
hard rock and heavy metal.
