Hey guys!

I need a rating from You. BAthory "The Return" and "Hammerheart" LP
The Return: Vinyl EX , Cover VG to VG-
Hammerheart: Vinyl VG (some cracking noises, the trader says), Cover EX

Both together for 35 Euros, both First pressing, the Hammerheart is the GATEFOLD edition. I tried to go down to 30 (original was 40) and am waiting for an answer....

Any suggestions from some experts?

Search on the internet for the newer pressings of these albums. If they suffer from loudness war get these vinyls, if not, buy the cd from an online/local shop.

Be aware of the vg vinyl descreption, ask if there are skips etc, also ask if they contain the original inserts.
Apart from that the price is decent, low enough for these first pressings.

As for the newer pressing i could never understand why would anyone buy a reissue if a decent copy of the original can be found for a decent price (especially in this case where the prices would be the almost same).
Except if the reissue was a special edition with bonus stuff etc, but that's not the case here...

Exactly!! I never understood that. In case one is a completist and just wants to have every pressing, made, i would understand (although i am not that kind of collector). But I would prefer the original any time
In this case it seems to be a very trustworthy and polite seller. He even got down to 30 for both, because he admitted the bendings were stronger than i could see on the photo. So very honest aswell.
Apart from that: All inserts included, the Hammerheart is the Gatefold-edition and included is also secured shipping.
So i guess, there is no reason to hesitate.

I just told you to listen to it and then to decide. For exemple, Queen's Live Killers remaster from 2003 (or a very close year - I don't have the CD with me right now), beats the crap out of first vinyl pressing.

Just to let You know: Got both for 30 some weeks ago and the condition is even better than described by the seller. Plays great, slight cracks never bothered me anyway. So i am more than happy!
