One of my favorite NWOBHM 7" of all time! highly recommended to everyone!

Released by Other Records / Waterfull Music in 1985 [#OTH 1]. Have also been bootlegged by Phoenix Records on yellow vinyl limited to 250 copies. The single was recorded 1984 at Matinee Music, Reading in 3 days.

Produced by Chris Broderick of BLUE ZOO. Vocalist Tudor Sheldon was only 19 years old here.

VIRTUE also recorded 2 demos, one before the 7" entitled 'Defenders' and later the 3-track 'Demo (1987)'. A live/rehearsal tape also exist without any vocals. For more info read the interview with Tudor and Matt Sheldon: http://www.myspace.com/virtueofficial/blog

An absolute killer release. It took me about twenty years to get to know it. One of those moments, when you know it's right to keep on looking for unknown releases, there might well another gem of this quality to discover yet!

I've gotta say i'm quite addicted to this single, is a must in my daily metal menu. So fucking good words can't express the divine power sent through the axe guitars and talk about the bloody hellish drums. along with Heads will roll and Traitors Gate's "Devil Takes the high road" are my top nwobhm singles.
