Info: Disgorged was part of Rochester's earliest death/grind bands (also Matrikhore + Evisceration) that created the Rochester sound. They formed around 1989 under the name Phantasmagoria and recorded a demo in 1990. At one point I learned all their songs to fill in for Ron when he couldn't play a show. By 1992 they changed the name to Disgorged and recorded the debut demo. Then came this Mini-CD. 4 tracks recorded in a 16-track studio. At this point drummer Dave Culross was the first local drummer to have a drum cage. People came to Disgorged's shows just to watch Dave play. He was an insanely talented drummer. The music is dark death/grind with some weird technical riffs and deep grunted vocals. They were heavily influenced by Incantation, 1st Dark Throne CD, Carcass, Napalm Death, etc. This was followed by a 2nd demo and then Disgorged splintered when Dave left Rochester and eventually drummed for Malevolent Creation, Suffocation, Incantation, etc. He currently resides in Florida. In 1995 3 of the 5 members formed a new band called Withered Earth.
