Do anyone know if Ian McCormack is the same guy who played drums in Satan, Battleaxe, Pariah, Cronos, etc?

I might actually have seen these guys play live back in the day.
That live pic looks very much as if it was taken at one of the free Kelvingrove Festivals which were held annually in Glasgow for many years (1978-1990) & were arranged by local radio station Radio Clyde who often broadcast the live sets from those shows. They were always well attended affairs & if the weather was good, estimates would put the crowds around 5000 strong.
I went to many of these shows throughout the 80's & got to see many of the local NWoBHM, Hard Rock & Neo-Prog acts as a result, (Glasgow, Chasar, Trident, La Paz, Rose's Home, Abel Ganz, Blind Allez, Centurion etc.), however, the advertised bills often changed on the day of the show, so you quite often didn't know the names of the bands onstage.
I'd previously discovered that Anaconda had been one of these mystery bands who i'd seen play but had no idea of their name then, and it now looks likely from that pic that Samurai are yet another.
Hopefully one day some of those live sets recorded at these festivals will surface. To date, the only one i've ever come across is the Chasar set, but the quality was awful unfortunately.
Here's a pic from the 1987 festival which should give a flavour of the thing, (illicit booze and other substances just out of shot) :
