The sound really is dramatically different. Why did they flatten the sound so much on the CD?

Yes, I've seen on Discogs: this masterpiece has been reissued even on vinyl (after the year 2010), but isn't your version a rip of the 1st press vinyl?? Just asking...

I have put first pressings of stuff here before, and still got it rejected because of reissues. And I always get people wanting to download it. I have both high-resolution and mp3 versions of under the sign.... Aston Clinton pressing

In this case, I have to remove my link; in fact, anyone can search on google and always will find some mailorder who has this album still for sale; I've found this Nuclear Blast link, f.e.:

Awesome, I always thought they never rejected this release maybe because of the vast difference the vinyl had over the horrible CD master...
