I've got a far better sounding studio demo of Gerard McMahon's 'Is That You?' that i could upload if you want to swap it out for the rougher live version included here. I also have the original version of 'King Of The Nighttime World' by Hollywood Stars from 1974 which would make the comp a bit more complete.
Kiss also covered 'Venus and Mars'/'Rock Show' for a Paul McCartney tribute, and Peter recorded a snippet of 'As Time Goes By', (just the 'You Must Remember This, A Kiss Is Still A KISS' part), which was on original pressings of his 1st solo album, so those originals could also be added.
I don't know how Russ Ballard's 'In The Night', Vinnie Vincent's 'Tears', The Young Rascals' 'You Better Run' or John Lennon's 'Jealous Guy' fit in here, (are some acoustic meet & greet covers?), but i've not paid too much attention to Kiss on record post 'Creatures...' so it may be blindingly obvious to most. Time i did some research methinks.

Ace covered Into The Night on his solo LP/Frehley's Comet album in 1987.
I am guessing the other songs were used on different member's solo albums/tours or maybe on a KISS tour, or like you said, the acoustic stuff they did i guess at a Kiss fan convention.

I'm not changing /swapping stuff on what HRC made, though you could make your own bootleg comp :)

Aha, thanks for the info. I didn't know 'Into The Night' as i wasn't too impressed by the Frehley's Comet stuff, though Ace's later solo career since 'Anomaly' has been surprisingly good.
It occurs to me that 'Hide Your Heart' should have been included too, having been recorded by both Kiss and Ace solo. I was unsure which of the many versions was the original, but according to google it was Bonnie Tyler who did it first.
Seems like there's plenty of scope for a 2nd volume of this comp.
