The first album by Dark Matter. A creation by Dave Gilbert, who, unashamedly walks in the footsteps of Black Sabbath, but also carries a whole host of other influences along for a unique and original sound. Dave says, "Dark Matter is something from the heart, something I feel. A protest against evil but with a positive message that peace and love is always the only way out. There is also some mystical wanderings in there as well". Dave has completely recorded this album himself and also produced the cd package.

After the release of this album, Dave has added a new, permanent member to the fold, Gandalf's Fist drummer Stefan Hepe. Stefan says, "A friend introduced me to this album, who, in turn had spoken to Dave about his music and that he knew a drummer who would possibly love to drum on future Dark Matter tracks. I jumped excitingly at the chance. Dave follows in the footsteps of Black Sabbath more than any other band I have heard and without trying to be copycat".
