Debut CD released in 1995. Teemu Kautonen (guitar/vocals) started the band originally as a side-project of Darkwoods My Betrothed. After two albums and a demo the band split up. They play great atmospheric doom that is very melancholy and sorrowful. Excellent melodies! The vocals are a mournful pagan sung style, reminding of My Dying Bride when he stopped the growling (or Quorthon's viking vocal style sometimes). Other bands that come to mind are Monumentum's debut CD and a more mournful and progressive Memory Garden. Also some delightful female vocals appear on occasion.
Scanned and ripped from my personal collection.
