In the fall of 1975 Bassist Joe Gibson and Drummer Gary Piland arrived in Topeka, Kansas looking for a dedicated guitarist to form a powerful new band.
After five months of disappointing tryouts, Joe ran into guitarist Joey Krug at a New Years Eve party, and so, after a 'magical' jam the next day, LIMOUSINE was formed.
From the beginning the band put their stage show on a par with the their musical presentation in a bid to capture an audiences attention one way or the other.
Limousine's music was hard, driving and intricate with special emphasis placed on their unique vocal talents, with all 3 members being strong singers.
Limousine performed live from August 1976 to October 1983, and over those years they built up a huge fan following, holding many attendance records at the venues where they played.
By the time of their breakup in 1983 the band had performed well over 800 concerts.
Joey Krug went on to form WARLOK with former members of TRACER & RAVEN in the mid 1980's, playing with them for 4 years before the band split.
A work offer then found Krug moving to Texas.
Returning to Kansas in the mid 2000s, Krug passed through the ranks of EPSILON, then formed 12 YEARS COMING.
12 Years Coming recorded the six song "Shut Up" Mini album in 2006, and contibuted "Shout At The Devil" to 2007's Versailles Records release, "Too Fast For Love: A Millennium Tribute To Motley Crue".
Following live shows with L.A. GUNS, some festival dates, and a tour with BLACK OAK ARKANSAS, Joey left the band.
Returning to live in Topeka again, he and original vocalist Les Roediger have now reformed Warlok with Tom Wiley of CROSSWIND and Jaime Serrano of UNMERCIFUL and TRAIL OF DECAY completing the new line up.
