This one is an oddity. Burst was Jesper Liveröd, of Nasum fame, his own band.
He played in it before Nasum and kept it alive parallel to the rise (and demise) of Nasum. But it was a wholly different beast.
They started out with kind of an ugly duckling metal-core sound but developed into a magnificent swan of mind-bending progressive metal on their last album 'Lazarus Bird' (which was released on Relapse Records so you'll find that somewhere else, do check it out though).
On this EP the morphing from one sound into the other started to take place.
I know it's not something most visitors of this forum will warm up to, but whatever. If you check it out, hope you like it.
