Sky Oats, put together by Randy Nauert - Bass (of the Challengers Band).
Rick Lancelot - vocals
Rob Edwards - guitar (also of Eddie and the Showmen and Colours)
Jim Keltner - drummer (legendary studio musician)

Weirdly, i came straight to this post right after posting that surf movie related Gary Hoey version of the Peanuts theme. I then thought i'd google a larger version of the excellent Rick Griffin artwork for 'Pacific Vibrations' & this came up in the search results:
