for someone who has been a member for longer than a few months, and especially years, they know better, and I would have banned him immediately for spamming more than once like that.

This one has been a member for 4 YEARS. I believe what is happening is two fold. #1. they are too lazy to read the rules. #2 Since they are TOO LAZY, they don't upload any music to share with others. The only posts they make are REQUESTS or as I like to refer to them in their case....... "gimme gimme gimme, I want, I want, I want.....I'm entilted" I am in total agreement with canadaspaceman......get rid of them. They are not contributing, we won't miss anything from them. I know I'm probably considered radical, but I grew up in a generation that didn't have everything handed to them and had respect for rules and regulations. Just MHO!!!

dclem, you remind me of a politician. Pitching your ideas of how something should be run, and trying to gain followers along the way, and you're doing a pretty good job of it. Applause to you. The thing is, a place like this should NEVER be about politics. It should be a place where people can come to discover and share music, not be divided into one against another. That being said it's not my forum, and I'm not trying to take it over like you. You talk about your generation not having everything handed to them, and I get that. My dad passed away in 2020, and he was from that generation. In fact, his family was very poor, and he had to work everyday, from before he was even a teenager, to help support them. He had 3 brothers and 3 sisters, so they all had to share everything. My point is, up to the day he died, he would help anybody with anything, and wouldn't ask for jack shit in return. Maybe that's where I get my frame of mind from. dclem, you also mentioned being "radical". That makes me think of an orange, piece of shit politician here in the United States, that you can't go one fucking day without hearing something about, even if you do everything possible to avoid it. Anyway, I believe you're just a bitter, old man that has one foot in the grave. Die on your hill with all your collection. Dig an extra grave and be buried with it. I'm sure there will be plenty of your supporters coming to your defense, terrified that you won't upload any of your rips unless I'm punished in one way or the other. That's fine with me, because I don't care. There's no way in absolute hell that I'll kiss your, or anyone else here's ass, just for a rip. Heavy Metal shouldn't be about bowing down to some asshole that thinks their ideology should be the law of the land. It should be the exact opposite. Anyway, for the most part, it's been fun here. Lately, not so much. I fully expect to get banned, receive negative points, blah, blah, blah... And that's fine too. Please keep sharing everything I've uploaded here. I didn't put in all the time scanning and ripping it just to have it disappear because I wanted everything my way. Hopefully, this post won't be deleted. I think it needs to be read. CHEERS!!!
