Greetings from Sweden! I've been a metal fan since way back when I found Accept's Restless and Wild LP, and talked my mom into buying it for me because the cover was so cool.

I found the site on Google, while searching for some old rare stuff. I was so impressed, however, that I forgot what I was supposed to have been looking for. :P

I am really into older hard rock especially with harmonic dual leads aka Thin Lizzy, Iron Maiden and love finding older less known bands in the us. Budgie and Max Webster would be good examples! I look forward to suggestions of bands to check out

Thanks All.

Hey,

I'm new here and I'd like to say I'm really into Classic Hard Rock (from the 70s, 80s and early 90s mainly)....

Hope to find some hard to find stuff here :)

I was doing my usual internet perusing trying to find some new 70s music that I haven't heard yet and stumbled on this site. I'm from Pittsburgh, PA (USA). My hobbies are skateboarding and building classic and muscle cars -- hence my affinity for hard rock/metal from the late 60s and early 70s. There's nothing cooler than turning the key in an old car car and blasting some old Pentagram!

I like more than just metal from the era -- I also like some Soul (Wilson Pickett), Heavy-Prog (as long as it's more Rock-based and not a 7 minute flute solo -- think early Bloodrock and Stray), Garage Rock (The Sonics), Psychedelic Rock (13th Floor Elevators), as well as a whole lot of Punk, Stoner Rock, and Blues. Some other notable favorites from other categories are the MC5, The Stooges, the Flamin' Groovies, and the Amboy Dukes.

Thanks in advance for the cool site!

I figured I'd post a couple pictures of my favorite music-listening devices...my cars!

This first one is a 1968 Plymouth Barracuda.

And finally, the ultimate 70s Rock and Roll Machine: a 1977 Custom Dodge Van!

(I've got a couple others, but they aren't finished yet)

Greetings from the North Of England. Great site. Currently on a mission to obtain as much 1980s speed metal as possible. Currently working on the German stuff first.
