General Metal Discussions » Videos - 4 hours of Metal/Hard Rock videos - pick some!
I have just found an old VHS tape of mine from the late 80s. On it are 4 hrs of videos I taped from TV back then, so the quality is quite good and the tape (despite being a cheap ass no name brand thing) is still in excellent condition. I'm gonna rip this to individual digital clips (AVI or DVD, still gotta decide), but before uplaoding anything I'd like to know if you guys are interested in any of that stuff and if you are, tell me what you want me to mupload and I'll do that on the weekend (I guess). This gives you a little time to react.

I have more of those and will do the same with them later. This one is probably the "most recent" tape of my 80s clip collections, hence there is a lot of Sleaze stuff on it. On earlier tapes, there is much more Heavy/Speed/Thrash-Metal. I was basically taping any video I didn't have or that needed a quality upgrade, so not each band on here is a fave, but it is always good to preserve such stuff.

Here's a list of what's on it:
Tangier - Stranded
Faith No More - Edge of the World
Saigon Kick - What you see
Poison - Talk dirty to me
Steve Jones - Freedom Fighter
The Almighty - Devil's Toy
Enuff Z'Enuff - Mother's Eyes
Spread Eagle - A guided tour of their neighborhood (MTV HBB special feature)
Spread Eagle - Switchblade Serenade
Mr. Big - Wind me up
Bang Tango - Soemone like you
Lynch Mob - River of love
Sleeze Beez - Stranger than paradise
Extreme - Decadence dance
Danzig - Killer Wolf
Savatage - When the crowds are gone
Quiet Riot - Stay with me tonight
Little Angels - Do you wanna riot
Chroming Rose - Louis XIV
Ozzy Osbourne - Bark at the moon
Risk - Ratman
Iron Maiden - Run to the hills
Savatage - Gutter ballet
The Almighty - Destroyed
XYZ - Inside out
Great White - The angel song
Underneath What - Straight ahead money
Quireboys - Hey you
Faith No More - Epic
Gary Moore - Oh, pretty woman
Giant - I'm a believer
Skid Row - 18 and life
Guns 'n' Roses - Sweet child O' mine
D.A.D. - Girl nation
Quireboys - Seven o' clock
Wolfbane - I like it hot
Danger Danger - Bang Bang
Dirty White Boys - Lazy crazy
Faith No More - We care a lot
Badlands - Dreams in the dark
Skid Row - Youth gone wild
Queensryche - Best I can
Scorpions - Don't believe her
Trouble Tribe - Here comes trouble
Tyketto - Forever young
Nasty Idols - Cool way of living

Ha, I would've made ANY bet, that those two would be the first to get requested! (cheers1)
Actually, I just watched those (doing some paperwork and so I let it run "in the background") and I can assure you that the quality is very good. I didn't mention that this is actually a 1st gen copy of the recording from TV (I didn't receive those stations so I had some guy taping the full shows for me and I copied all the music to another tape), but don't worry, they are still looking great and are in stereo (I had a good job - actually a shitty one, but I got paid very well, so I bought two multi system HiFi Stereo VCRs of the same brand to ensure getting the best quality possible!).

Thanks for not betraying my trust in your good taste! :)
