[Judas Cult]

Hey guys, looking for something really peculliar.
Can you name bands and/or songs that used this kind of alternated keyboards/guitar leads sequences in at least one of their songs?
Preferably something that came out between 1986 and 1989 but most likely in 1989.
I have the hardest time finding that one song and I don't even know the band name.
It was an up tempo heavy rock kind of thing, very energetic and catchy with vocals reminiscent Bonfire .
The lead keyboard sounded a bit like the one you'd find Vinnie Moore's Min's Eye IIRC.

First band that came into my mind were STRATOVARIUS and their Fright night album, this album is full of guitar keys-duels, was released 1989.

Thanks for the reply mate. Good call but unfortunately it's not them. It was much less proggy and more straight forward, almost radio oriented but still somewhat heavy.
Also the singer had a lower pitched voice from what I remember.

Well, i know that is very far from what do you want, but check Deep Purple. They have much more than Smoke on The Water. And keyboard and guitar duels are common
