Your favorite Judas Fucking Priest album

Priest is my favorite band of all times, and since i know them, people are always saying their favorite album is "Sad wings of destiny" and i kind of agree since that is one of my favorites too, it has legendary masterpieces of metal such as "Tyrant" "Victim of changes" "Dreamer deceiver". But even with all of those awesome songs i still think is not a perfect album as a whole, while my favorite it actually is. Pain motherfucking killer, in my opinion the perfect heavy metal album, every song is different, the lyrics make you wanna go out to battle, and each one of them is awesome, it's super well produced... i mean there is nothing bad i can say about Painkiller. What about you bro/sis? what's your favorite Judas Priest album?

Defenders of the Faith for sure

I have a great fondness for Sin After Sin, as it was one of my early metal albums and I would play it ceaslessy, wearing the grooves completely out. Just love that album and the memories. Sad Wings of Destiny is so beautiful, it always will rank way up there. And Screaming for Vengeance and Defenders of the Faith, just monumental. I began to see PRIEST on tour with their tours of these albums (saw them together with MAIDEN on the Screaming tour - now THAT was a show!) and just terrific times. When Turbo came out, I puked when I heard it. Fucking gay crap. But when I was listening to the radio and they were doing a special on the new PRIEST album, Painkiller, and they played some tracks from the album, I almost wet my pants hearing Between the Hammer and the Anvil and the other songs they played. Painkiller is great - the only problem I have with it, is the lyrics are a bit too silly for me - Priest IMO had a weakness in the lyric department as they got more popular, but definitely a great moment.
I also really like the Angel of Retribution album and think it is a fine comeback.

My all time favorite album will always be "British Steel". Its a masterpiece all the way through!!!

A close second would be "Screaming For Vengeance".

My all time favourite metal band too!

Painkiller was the first metal album I bought (great beggining!) and it sounded to me great but I couldn't make any comparison since I had only heared some Iron Maiden stuff till then.

Can't choose between these exceptional albums

Well, I'd put 'Unleashed' into the number one position.

And I am -oh big shock- quite fond of the so called 'softrock album' Point of entry !

Not only because it is one of the first albums I ever bought but there are some genuine masterpieces on that album.
Especially played live they get a crowd going on every occasion.

I agree, I've always liked "Point of Entry" as well. Back "in the day" when I played it, I never considered it a soft album, only later I heard some people slag it and I never agreed with them. I think it's a very strong album. I don't like it as much as the very best ones, but if I were making a personal "Best of PRIEST" album, definitely many tracks from Point of Entry would make it there.

Painkiller would be my #1. After that is really too hard to choose! (Though I must give mention to Stained Class since no one else has and it is definitely a top Priest album for me.)

Unleashed in the east was my first Priest record and still is special to me.
Sin after sin would be my favourite studioalbum, because it is such a cumbersome piece of steel, Streamlined albums may go quicker to ear, but the cumbersome ones garantee longer pleasure!
