First of all congratulations on your buy of Ample Destruction.
I remember being obssessed with this LP back in the late '80s.
I was looking for that LP but it was impossible to find here in Greece
and then in 1990 it was reissued by Metalcore.
I still remember the day i bought it, i just couldn't wait to get home to listen to it.
In the mid 90s i bought every edition of it that i could find, just to get it out of my system.
It is still today one of my favorite U.S. Metal records.

Here are some NWOBHM classics :

http://img51.imageshack.us/img51/7593/dsc00987ir.jpg
http://img594.imageshack.us/img594/6924/dsc00988ls.jpg

To be more informative, out of these eight,
i bought from U.K. sellers only two (Renegade, Damascus).
And in general most times that i found good priced NWOBHM vinyls,
they were offered by non-U.K. sellers. So i don't think you have to travel
to England for NWOBHM, just keep your eyes open for good prices.

Thank you. I have the Metalcore pressing already sitting in the shelf. But it's such a great record that I also wanted the horsemen-covered release.. :)

Again, more nice records there. Desolation Angels is one of the better Nwobhm bands -- very good stuff. I'm intending to buy their release(s) in either format in future as I currently don't have physical copy. Especially that Long-play is great but the rest of the stuff is too. The heavy stomper "Valhalla" is one of my favorites.

Then I see Cloven Hoof (EP I think?) there which is also very cool band. I only own Dominator personally this far of 'em. Whenever you see Cloven Hoof album for sale it doesn't go too cheap these days no matter which of the 80's releases - but especially those earliest ones.

Good stuff. Like your idea of posting pics of albums by heavy metal "sub-categories" / by country: Nwobhm, US-metal etc.

Cool Trashhead! Raven is energetic band. I almost got the same Ratt album few days ago but then chickened out of it at the last second :D Piledriver, well their live shows (Youtube clips) always put grin in my face in humorous way. They're hilarious. But the music kicks ass nevertheless! I have Metal inquisition as CD also.. Oh wait a minute is that Metal inquisition right there? Now that I think of it I don't remember the cover clearly. Need to dig up the CD:) Btw you most likely already knew this but the Piledriver singer has recently formed a new instance of Piledriver. I'm not sure if it's reformation or not since cannot remember the other members if they were there originally or not. It's called "The Exalted Piledriver" if I remember right and they've put out at least one album so far..

So much vinyl pics. I try taking picture of some CD's and attach it here soon :)

Here's some more (I hope this is not spamming too much at once!). I generally don't focus into single bands anymore, as I try to get best records from each bands and favor debuts over the last works.. but there has been few bands which I've bought more albums than from the others. Here's few of them (don't get shocked for bad condition of jewel cases in Running Wild recods, they've taken most abuse of them all out of my records - HEAVY USAGE! cd's should be ok tho):

Running Wild (Yes, I'm skipping Shadowmaker for now... probably could had included Death Metal sampler CD here also! I totally forgot. However that might be a bootleg)

Rage (lacking two or three newest releases)
http://i.imgur.com/JPTll.jpg

A drawing of Rage (GER) I drew over a decade ago (sorry, OT and I'm an amateur! It's long since I've drawn anything for good.. hopefully I get inspiration some time. Might do something alike from another band.)
http://i.imgur.com/TkPaJ.jpg

Grave Digger (lacking at least Liberty or Death)
http://i.imgur.com/M8bJb.jpg

Tank vs Armored Saint (Ps. those dvd's are a must for any fan! Lacking A.S. newest and Tank S/t)
http://i.imgur.com/mMkiF.jpg

Metal Church & Reverend (Mike Howe greatness vs. David Wayne madness!)

Yes The Exalted Piledriver Trying to Track Down a Copy of the Metal Manifesto They Also Released a Live Record too Called Night of the Unpolished Turd Wich Was Released Last Year and the Ratt Ep Very Expensive Online Seen it Go Up for $74 Not Cheap But i Found it at a Used Record Store for $6.00 so i Grabbed it Also Music for Nations Also Had it Released in the Mid 1980's Wich Has a Early Version of You're in Trouble as a Bonus But That's Expensive as Well and Atlantic Records Rereleased in 1990 and That Ain't Cheap as Well i Did a Vinyl Rip of it But Hey at Least i Found it Cheaper and It's Very Underrated if You See it Again Pick it Up Couse it's Not a Easy Record as Much to Come Across.

Woa. I never knew Armored Saint's Raising Fear CD would be more sell more than $10-15. My little brother bought that way back and listened it few times.. but he was not as keen to it. He said it was "ok". When he was about to sell it to some local store buying used records for rip-off prices - I - who previously didn't know Armored Saint - liked the album and got it from him for $6-7. :) That's my own beginning for a journey to "A trip through red times".

Three Armored Saint records I own seem to be pressed in mid 90's by Metal Blade Records. Don't think they're the first pressings of those CD's.

In exception of the debut which is re-master / -release by Rock Candy Records from 2006 it seems.

Me and my friend George (of Metal Reunion Records) released the Leather Nunn CD
9 years ago (if my memory serves me right).

I don't think that it is going for that much at the internet. I've usually seen it around $30 to $40.
Funny thing is that i still have some left.

Sorry, posted the message before I read your last reply.

Edit: Funny that the new one is cheaper than the used :), that's just crazy price tags.
No one with a working brain will buy it for that price.
