Midnight Messiah (ex-Elixir members) need your help!
Below is an email I received from Phil Denton of Midnight Messiah (ex-Elixir). I'm sure he would appreciate it if any members here would cast a vote for Midnight Messiah.
Hi,
Phil Denton formerly of Elixir, and now of Midnight Messiah here.
I hope you are ok!
As someone who has supported our band in the past, I would like to ask for your help once more.
Establishing Midnight Messiah and starting from the beginning again with a new band is hard work. Paul Taylor and I considered continuing as Elixir when the other guys no longer wanted to continue, but we felt that it wasn’t right to carry on as Elixir without Norms, Kev and Nigel, and so, when we found three fantastic new guys, we changed the name of our new band to Midnight Messiah.
In one way it is exciting and fresh to start out under a new name, but it is hard to get the exposure and festival slots without our old name.
This is where you come in. As someone who has supported the work of Paul and I in the past, could we please ask you a favour?
Midnight Messiah has been chosen as one of the six finalists for ‘Band of the Month’ for August on Firebrand Rock Radio.
If you do not know of it, Firebrand plays Classic Rock and Metal, and the prize for winning the ‘Band of the Month’ competition is lots of airplay, a special one hour feature show with interview, and of course, great exposure for our new band.
So please would you click on the link below and vote for Midnight Messiah on the webpage.
You can also find two songs there, taken from our debut album ‘The Root of All Evil’ – ‘King of the Night’ and ‘Damned For All Time’.
