After the epic debacle of Demon Master you could color me really wary going into this purchase. I love the early demos andThe Sane Asylum is definitely in my all time thrash related top 10...just a stellar and ferociously unique albums plus they killed it live back in the day...but man DM took a serious shit on those memories from a great height...

I am very happy to report that all trepidation had been unwarranted...this baby smokes...the fiercely independent streak and the metal are back in a big way. The two new songs are instantly recognizable as prime Blind Illusion but not exact carbon copies of the past sound....close but new also. Not bad hearing a couple of old classics with the new line up either...a good appetite whetter for trying to catch them live soon...

Really good stuff...color me very much looking forward to the new full length!

Marc has the tapes for the 2nd album Malpractice, he kind of even implies that it's finished, but he's not going to release it. L.A.M.E!

Where did you read or hear that news?

In 2015, I sent Mark Biedermann $30 (US) for digital files, He said he would send a physical disc, but kind of gave up on that.
The guy seems eccentric, and not organized, so I think fans are lucky to get anything.

The WAV file of MEDICINE WHEEL STEREO LEVELS EQUAL was a remix of the 1989 Demo Psychedelic Symphony side 1 -
(The Medicine Show / Slow Death / Malpractice / For Me I Am).
Great to finally hear a clear version, but the other WAV and mp3 files are confusing as to their origins..
Some of it sounds like Psychedelic Symphony side 2 , the instrumentals, but with vocals.
One I think is from a 1979 demo (THE WATCHER FOR JACK BRUCE.mp3)

Anyways, I keep forgetting to buy that new CD EP. Maybe will do that this week.

if anyone is curious, the "new" Cd is in a slim cardboard sleeve,so not a digipack.
(I HATE digipacks because if/when the spokes break, you cannot fix it).
No lyric sheet.
This is what i got, and very nice they added stickers.
