Bates Motel disturbed the public in Ottawa, Canada from 1990-1992. Led by vocalist John Bates (Big John Bates, Ligeia, Annihilator) the band played a blend of Metal, Hard Rock, Punk, Psychobilly and Goth. Later the band continued in Vancouver with a new lineup and released the "T.O.O.M." (Tales Of Ordinary Madness) CD. This is however a Soundcloud playlist detailing a brief history of the Ottawa Chapter's many demos and independently released cassettes, some released for the first time.
