Emil I think they are from Weston-Super-mare and not from Scotland. That's why all first live shows (http://www.outsider3.co.uk/ZiLive.html) are taken place at Weston Super mare and Bristol - the nearest big city. (btw, 14 years ago I've been at Weston-Super-Mare and Bristol for a couple of days).
This blog mention it too: http://nwobhmknightmare.blogspot.gr/201 ... -1984.html
From Glenrothes, Scotland is the other UK group that you upload the 1982 demo here: viewtopic.php?f=95&t=980&hilit=+zenith (http://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Zenith/26509)
Don't know the hometown of "Zenith (UK) - 1982 - Easier Said than Done [Single]" - for sure they aren't Zenith (Weston-super-Mare) 'cause they were formed in 1984.

If anyone is interested 2 of their 28 songs that Zenith (Weston-super-Mare) recorded between 1984-87 can be downloaded here: http://www.outsider3.co.uk/ZMusic.html

Your right, I wrote the wrong city in the title. Will fix it =)

The "Easier Said than Done" single doesn't exist. The tracks seem to be taken from Zenith (Glenrothes) 1982 demo.
Boris explained some of it here as well: viewtopic.php?f=210&t=1713

Bit surprised about people looking for this demo,I joined the band 1985.
I replaced hayden palmer on bass then switched to guitar until I left 1987 and helped form the uk thrash band PURGATORY.
I have laughed at the fact the band came from glenrothes as I lived there for two years!! But the band was based in Weston-super-Mare.
I'm still in contact with Andy sayers he now plays in Sabbath UK ,a black sabbath tribute band.
I'm sure he has the original demo's transferred to cd. I have the singe heavy heart and another demo we recorded before I left and various live tracks on cd.
I worked again with Andy sayers and Keith townsend in a band called OUTSIDER we recorded one album.
Great to see people interested in this band all these years later!
I'll contact andy and tell him about the interest.
    Take care
    Andrew Jamieson

I've contacted Andy so it's really up to him how to do this.
I didn't play on these demo's but I was given a copy when I joined and learned the set from them.
Great tracks and well written songs for the era.

    More info:

The Band was formed in January 1984 by Andy Sayers (Guitar & Vocals) and Cliff Evans (Guitar) who were at the time joined by Haydon Palmer on Bass and Ben Graves (Drums), both of whom were temporary members of the band with musical interests/commitments elsewhere. They were, however, both to feature on the self released 10 track cassette album in the summer of 1984 even though this line up only managed one live performance (the first one for Zenith) at Hobbits in February 1984. Andrew Jamieson joined the band on bass in 1985 followed by Keith Townsend on drums later in the year. Both were to later team up again with Andy Sayers to form Outsider in 1998. The drum position was held, again on a temporary basis, by Mark Helmore until Keith joined the band. Gigs were not regular in the period up to 1985 but once the line up was complete more dates were played and 1986 was a particularly busy year for the band. In 1986 Zenith released a 3 track single/EP containing the songs “Heavy Heart”, “Death by Misadventure” and “Not Guilty” recorded at Horizon Studios Weston-super-Mare. Later in 1986 the band parted company with Cliff Evans and brought Gary Townsend in on bass guitar with Andy Jamieson switching to lead duties. This line up remained until the band’s demise in March 1987 shortly after recording what should have been the second single “Leaving You” and “Ruthless”. After the collapse of Zenith Andrew Jamieson joined uk thrash band PURGATORY.

A few of the tracks are on the 'Death By Misadventure' compilation that was released in June 2020 on Obscure NWOBHM Releases.
