Everytime I read a phrase like I Love Transylvania the homonymous song by Austin´s fun project Buzz n´ Bangs comes to my mind.

So, to all oldschool metalheads claiming "I do not understand Black Metal" here´s the perfect translation to Heavy Metal:

Beware - high risk of addiction, this song is epic! (listenmu2)

Has anyone ever noticed that Funeral Fog consists of the instrumental part which can be found on From The Darkest Past bootleg (DMDS instrumental rehearsal recorded in May 1992) and the vocals added after? The thing is that the vocals doesn't sound like it was Dead who sang here. I mean, maybe it's his voice, but it sounds somehow different in comparison with the other recordings he did with Mayhem. And then the question arises - from which recording it can be? Where is the original version with this voice lines? I heard about unreleased rehearsal tape from February 1990 (hope to hear full version soon!), but I suppose here's something different... No, serious, the vocals sounds a bit unfamiliar. I don't think Occultus sang here. There are lots of reliable sources that claim that Mayhem didn't record anything with him.

Doesn't exist any rehearsal recording with Occultus, there are no doubts about this truth.
That said, I have no clue about who's the vocalist on this version of "Funeral Fog"; according to my infos, should be Dead, but I agree with you: the vocals here doesn't sound as the known Dead's vocals parts (hmm) I can just share the only info in my hands: "Ripped from a bootleg vinyl, "I Love Transylvania" is a bootleg-E.p. 7" released in 1999.
It contains two unreleased rehearsal-tracks with Dead on vocals.

Recorded sometime between 1989 and and 1991, there is no date listed on the 7" and no information on who released it…"
    (idk)

And, about whether i have tried to ask for more info from the owner of Facebook page "The True Mayhem Collection": he's recently posted a part of Freezing Moon from this bootleg and one of the subscribers have already asked for info about the recording year.

    Here it is: https://www.facebook.com/thetruemayhemc ... _tn__=kC-R

Shortly after, the owner of the page even asked whether anyone has any ideas about the recording date.

    Here: https://www.facebook.com/thetruemayhemc ... ?__tn__=-R

The pic of the bootleg from the second post clearly shows the front cover of "In Memorium" bootleg. I remember that this bootleg has two vesions of Freezing Moon and Funeral Fog. The first versions of these tracks was taken from "Out From The Dark" 1989 rehearsal. That's for sure. And here, some strange things: The second version of Freezing Moon is from "I Love Transylvania" (without Dead's speech in the beginning) while another version of Funeral Fog taken from - who knows from... This version has a false start.

Here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6yMirfaTiCo (the version on "In Memorium")

Or the whole bootleg: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GZQTd7p1oFw (the last track)

But it's definitely not the same version which was included in "I Love Transylvania" bootleg.

    Here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IX634tY7jDU

Very weird thing. Looks like there exists the right version of "I Love Transylvania" and the wrong one. That strange version of Funeral Fog appears on "I Love Transylvania/Ancient Skin/Live" bootleg and maybe this is the wrong version.

    https://www.discogs.com/Mayhem-I-Love-T ... ter/505396 + https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7YRiSUv50M (that's certainly Pelle singing, on both tracks)

    and

https://www.discogs.com/Mayhem-I-Love-T ... e/14808265 + https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UfAX9dcuL1Y (and who is in charge of vocal parts on Funeral Fog here - is a really tough question)
