Thanks for sharing this rarity - it's surprising how few live recordings of Hell have surfaced, despite the fact that the band were around for a few years and were an important part of the metal scene in the East Midlands in the 1980's.

OH MAN! ANOTHER VERSION OF NO MARTYRS CAGE WITH HALLIDAY, AND IT CUTS TOO!!!

Thats 2 out of 3 (original) versions of the song that cut waaay early!! The only studio versions Ive ever heard of existing cuts out T 3:30 (but it has no spoken intro so it gets a bit farther in then this live cut. Thank fuck Sneap dug out that other rehearsal take and remastered it with the other stuff. I dont understand why he would omit the studio cut of INTENSE IS THE SENSE OF DOOM and only do the Scheming Demons cut, or why he only cleaned up one version of DELIVER US FROM EVIL (i was hoping for Demo 2 and Scheming Demons versions).... but the rest is perfect! THE DEVILS DEADLY WEAPON and all the demo 2 tracks never sounded so perfect before, not even on a 1st gen tape!
HELL - "CLEANED UP TRACKS" Collection (Remixed by Andy Sneap 2009/2010, although note the glaring lack of Demo #1 :()

    01. Blasphemy & The Master (Demo 2 - mix 1) 7:15
    02. Blasphemy & The Master (Demo 2 - mix 2) 7:21
    03. Blasphemy & The Master (Live) 6:27
    04. Deathsquad (7 inch) 4:50
    05. Deliver Us From Evil (Demo 2) 4:01
    06. Depths of Despair (Scheming Demons) 7:02
    07. Intense Is The Sense of Doom (Scheming Demons) 4:44
    08. Let Battle Commence (Demo 2) 4:32
    09. Let Battle Commence (Rehearsal w/ diff. chorus) 4:44
    10. Macbeth (Demo 2) 7:36
    11. Macbeth (Live) 6:16
    12. Macbeth (Scheming Demons) 6:21
    13. No Martyr's Cage (Live) 6:42
    14. On Earth As It Is In Hell (Demo 2) 5:19
    15. Plague & Fire (Live) 5:32
    16. Save Us From Those Who Would Save Us (7 inch) 3:49
    17. The Devil's Deadly Weapon (Demo 2) 8:40
    18. The Disposer Supreme (Scheming Demons) 5:30
    19. The Oppressors (Live - with spoken word intro) 6:11
    20. The Quest (Live) 3:41
    21. The Quest (Scheming Demons) 4:00
    22. Where Angels Fear to Tread (Demo 1) 3:44

Regardless of the cuts on NMC and Let The Battle Commence, this is an awesome upload! Ive never heard this recording before and the quality could be muuuuch worse for something so SACRED and Id still blast it!! This whole thing is surprisingly good quality for an audience recording, HELL was just sonic perfection (and still rule, although its not the same as with Dave but despite how different it is its mindblowing now too) so I dont know why Im surprised. Thanks a lot for this! Always glad to add something onto a discography that seems like theres nothing else to add too!
