    I heartily agree.
Their early albums in particular, (From "Budgie" to "Bandolier"), are under appreciated classics, with Tony Bourge being one of the inexplicably unsung riff-meisters and guitar heroes.

I won't say "corrupted" although technically they are, but it is easy to fix with the foobar2000 media player using the "Rebuild MP3 stream" and possibly "Fix VBR header".
Caution: one should not use this on an entire collection en bloc, because it could kill some headers that are there to implement gapless playback. (Those are, strictly speaking, nonstandard hacks, but some times a technically corrupted one could work and should not be fixed.)

I got the same audio (but without tags) from a different source, and they are bit by bit the same audio. I can only guess that someone used a defective tagging application. Anyway, now you have a solution.

Please understand, the sound quality is so that as it was posted by the creator of the topic !!

    (facepalm) (facepalm) !!

Yes, and I have them - with the same deficiencies - from a different source. And to confirm, the audio is bit-identical.

Still I don't get where you are headed and why you are facepalming. Files have been reported as unplayable in some players, and I have verified in another that it makes a skipping sound at the very beginning of some tracks.

So I suggested how to fix it. Without transcoding; without quality loss. The only thing "wasted" in this case, are a couple of corrupted frames at the very beginning, and they do not even seem to contain audio (although, unfortunately, some players interpret it as such, because they have been written in a way that may suggest they should be).

So why are you facepalming at that?
