Just wanted to know if anyone want's the option to choose a darker theme for the forum?
Let me know and I put something together.

Yeah certainly me. Apart from psychological sense of well-being (My colour credo is "Any colour you like as long as it's black!"), I recently discovered that parts of my postings are illegible, due to the use of white coloured letters on a background recently turned from black to light-grey.

Yeah watching to bright colors a long time can hurt the eyes.
I had to remove the old dark theme as it wasn't up to date and missed a lot of modifactions I had made to the original "white" theme.
It's asier to work with white colour but looks better in black so I will start working on a darker theme for you Oldfart, and others interested.

You want it totally black or dark-grey as it was before?

I like it the way it is, everything's clear and not cluttered by over-colorkill. Plus the slate/white gives the Nordic feel of a peaceful yet metallically-menacing ice-forest, especially with the battle warriors at top.

But black is cool too, won't be too upset at a change. How 'bout blood-red, meh heh heh ...

The dark theme will ofc not be a replacement, only an additional theme to choose from.
In the future we could probably add a BLOOD RED one to

When I add codes and MOD's I have to do it for both themes/templates.. it wasn't enough time so I only worked with the default layout (the one you see now).
The darker theme was last updates may 2011 or something so it had to go.

A dark grey will suffice totally. Even a just a little darker than the grey used in the "Home Post Activity...." Menue would improve the readability of white letters greatly. Thanks in advance!

The dark theme is definitely superior its less strain on the eyes and is more atheistically pleasing. That was the first thing i did before i even began to post, change the theme from gray to dark. Thank you for having the option to do so.

My only suggestion would be if you could make the the date/ time on the upper right have white font instead of dark gray so it can be more noticeable and easier to read. I had trouble finding it in the beginning.

My reply is late but i'm using the dark theme for some time and seems great to me. I prefer it this way, much less tiring for the eyes, so for me it's a great addition...

Just a small isuue with the darker theme.
When I'm writing and try to select text lines by dragging the mouse, the text gets underlined with a black color and the text itself gets shinier.
Maybe I'm losing sight or I don't surf the net with the proper light, but I find it a bit difficult to select text when wanting to do it precisely.
Not too much of an issue, but it would take me more time to select text in some cases.
Pointing it just in case someone had difficulties with the matter.
