if you use cable you can download at a speed of 16mb and more...
upload is arround 1.2 a 1.7 or 2.0 mb

is it ok to use MEGA here?. trying to keep my links updated and zippyshare doesn't last that long. i have a few dead links here now and soon as i get a reply to this i'm going to make all new links. or what is the best site to use at this moment if no MEGA?

4shared should be good. I've seen up to 6-7 years old files on it.

I use 4Shared. As long as you sign into your account once every 180 days, the files will be available.

i've never had a problem using MEGA, i say it's okay

That happens, just give it time & the download should complete after a minute or two.

The thing with zippyshare is that a file stay there as long the file has been accessed within 30 days.

Meaning: When you upload a file on Zippyshare, it stays there for 30 days. When nobody downloads that file within 30 days it will be deleted. But when someone downloads the file on day 15, 30 days will added after day 15 and in that sense prolonging the life span of the file. So as long someone downloads the file it will keep the file going.

indeed there are times that MEGA is freezing at 99% and just stays there without completing the downloading,even if you wait some time.it indeed happened to me also,but I noticed that if you repeat the process you will get the file you want.
tha last months even MEDIAFIRE has a similar problem but it may depends of the connection.

Mega freezes at 99 percent when using Safari. If you use Firefox, it will run to 99 and then go to 100. It will then ask if you want to run or save your file. If you click save, it will then save it to your downloads.

1fichier also does the same thing, the only difference being that the link is initially active for 60 days, then remains live for a further 30 days from each subsequent download after that initial time of 60 days has passed.
