Info: This is the original 1981 Carrere records german pressing of the original Don Dokken's "Breakin' The Chains" wich has the studio version of "Paris (AKA "Paris Is Burning") and "We're Illegal" (Later with re-recorded vocals and lyrics wich would be known as "Live To Rock (Rock To Live)"), also the bass parts were not recorded by Ratt's Juan Croucier but Accept's own Peter Baltes and some of the drum tracks we're recorded by Ratt's own Bobby Blotzer.

Back in 2012 i downloaded the WAV vinyl rip from a blogspot called Hear Rock City blogspot through Megauploads.com (Wich was shutdown due to the goverment finding out that the owner was puting hiden links to pirated movies wich were'nt released yet to DVD or Blue-ray) so the WAV vinyl rip has not yet been re-uploaded so here i am providing a re-upload link through my 4shared acount!.

so enjoy this rare verison of the classic debut album by Don Dokken in lossless form.

For several years, I was under the impression that the 1983 Elektra Records release was the "original", but I found out a few years ago that it wasn't. It was actually a bit of a surprise to me that Peter Baltes played bass on this record (I used to think it was Juan Croucier).

Oops. Sad to say this is NOT lossy. Sure it's in WAV format but when looking at the spectrum in Audition it's obviously be bloated from MP3 to WAV. That's a shame as it would have been nice to have. Looks like someone took a piece of art / hard work and destroyed it by converting it to MP3. :(

I downloaded the mp3 version. I'm thrilled to come back and find lossless. Dokken is one of my three favorite bands, along with Motley Crue and Ratt. Thank you.
