    Nice upload, thank you.
I don't think Mick Brown & George Lynch were in the band in 1978, at that time they were both playing in a band called XCITER.
    See here : http://www.heavymetalrarities.com/forum ... 41&p=13231
It seems more likely that if the date is correct these demos were recorded with Greg Pecka (drums) and Steven R. Barry (bass), with Greg Leon on guitar.
Having said that, Juan Croucier was in and out of the band a few times, so he might be on the demo.
The timeline of early Dokken is tricky to pin down with online sources often contradicting each other, and former members confusing the story even further unfortunately.
    [EDIT]
Just found this additional info online concerning the Exciter Demo:
"The first 4 of tracks are actually from 1983.
"Do It" was recorded for Herman Rarebell's second solo album "Herman Ze German", released in 1986."

I found this release on the web so I don't actually know if all tracks are from the same demo or at the same time - It's probably a bootleg (Band lineup included at the release).
I was trying to track down Dokken's first single (1977-79), that includes "Sheila" and "I Can't See You Anymore" (not included here) and this release is all I could find.
The rest songs are probably later recordings (as you mentioned) so I change the title to "Early demo Recordings" [197x-198x] and move topic to bootlegs. Thanks for the additional info...

    About 'Sheila' song:
Don Dokken quote about this song: "Actually it's a Dokken demo, with Juan Croucier and Greg Pecka, recorded in Hamburg Germany 1979. Me playing the solo... This was my first record a 45 'wow.produced by the late Drake Levin, RIP a really great guy. He was the guitarist for Paul Revere and the raiders. Robin Trowers drummer and bassist Rusty Allen played the backing tracks, circa, 1977/ media art studios hermosa beach. That's where I met Wyn Davis I was 25!!"

I don't know that the 'Sheila' 45 that was mentioned was ever officially released, it may have only made it to acetate or test press.
Like i said, Dokken & co. continue to muddy the waters with contradictory information, often contradicting themselves as well as each other.

I'm almost sure in what i'm stating :

On the first 4 tracks - the so called "Exciter Demo" , i could swear on what you wish that is not the type of drumming of Mick Brown.
So, if Mick Brown only got in the band on 1980, these recordings can be perfectly of 1979.

Don't know nothing on the last tracks (5th and 6th)
