Not to be confused with the Armed Forces of Los Angeles, California

This Armed Forces formed in the year of 1980 in New York city and released their debut e.p. in 1984 titled "Let There Be Metal" and after that vocalist Scott Knight quite the band and along with second guitarist Tommy Bolan and the rest renamed themselfs as just Armed Force and released a full length under that name titled "Heavy Artillery" and then split-up

there also exists a demo that was released after the e.p. while they were still under the Armed Forces name so if anyone has that demo i like to see it uploaded

Ripped straight from my personel copy
Scans and Lyrics sheet are included in both the MP3 and WAV archives.

Nice blast from the past!! Excellent upload
I remember buying this when it came out. (The cover sold me) Great NY metal of the era.
I assume they were stuck in the Tri State because I never got to see them and I saw almost everybody here in NY.
I'm very interested in the demo also and I think I need to request a Re Up on the Armed Force. I never heard that release.
    Thank you Thrashhead
