Here is the 1991 demo of DEFCON as requested, ripped from a CD-R copy. It was originally
ripped from the tape by sonicbludgeon if I remember it correctly. Nice power metal w/prog
elements and great vocals. To bad no info at all on the line-up. :(

Btw this is the line-uo (thanks to George for the info):

    George Hendrick - Vocals
    Randy Blackwell - Guitar
    Kyle Anderson - Guitar
    Mark Louis - Bass
    Marc Brattin Drums

Great Demo. Sounds like a mixture between LETHAL and GARGOYLE.
    Thanks a lot

I have some stuff with other incarnations of DEFCON and prior to that. I am working on getting some of it over into the digital domain. Slow but steady. I am an old headbanger these days, plus I have had to work a real job for quite awhile now so these things take time. I will keep you posted on how it goes. Thanks again to you my young metal brother! (zombie)

really great US power metal up with vocals reminiscent of J. Mallicoat (Lethal) it's a real shame they didn't put out an LP but it was already '91 and the record companies didn't care about this brand of metal. Thanks Strap and of course George for this piece of high quality heavy metal

Kyle Anderson - Guitar - Is my little brother and these guys are all awesome people with amazing talent....

I have so many great memories of this band.

They were all friends with Pantera and backed them up on many ocassions in Dallas/Ft. Worth.

Hi SLAM! glad to see such nice words about DEFCON - they deserve it.
So what are you/they up to today? Geoff said something about digitalizing old songs - will there be a CD release of it maybe?

Your "avatar" seem to give a hint of something interesting going on (hehe1)
