Info: Here is a rip of my Combat vinyl issue of Raven's 1988 release. I ended up inheriting this release when I was a metal DJ in college. At that point, CDs were preferred when playing music on the air, because they were more convenient and easier to work with. Also, you would get CD singles that would have extended versions of songs, which were great to play on air when the DJ had to run to the bathroom. LOL. The station was purging some of its vinyl, so I added a few to my collection. Anyway, this recording sounds very good, but there is a layer of static that can be heard clearly between songs and in the softer parts of the songs. When the music rips, however, it sounds amazing. I was afraid to use any noise reduction, because I thought it would dull the sound. If anybody crafty enough out there wants to take a shot at this and can remove the static from it and still maintain the great sound on it, please take a shot at it. This release also has a few bonus tracks in lossless that I took from my "Ultimate Revenge 2" disc. I boosted the decibels on the two tracks to fit with the album. Scans of my signed vinyl are included.
