It says on the Metal Archives that this was a pre-Soldier band that recorded "Sheralee" prior to it being used by Soldier. However, it also says that this was recorded in 1981, which diesn't really jive. All I know is that this demo is being offered on Bandcamp for free by Soldier.

According to my small infos - this is pre-Soldier and probably the tape was recorded or released in 1982 - ????

Soldier were formed in 1979, so if this is a pre-Soldier band then the demo was recorded in early 1979 at the very latest.

According to the Rockdetector website Nick Bicknell joined Soldier in September 1981, bringing 'Sheralee' with him, so the demo is pre-1981 in that case.

ID – We had a new guitarist join the band – Nick Bicknell who was in a band called Alien Heat.
Nick had written this song for them called Sheralee which we thought was a great song so we metalled it up and the rest is history.

I included the link here to the bandcamp page where the band offers this demo in all formats for free. I also took the image from the page to create a cover for the release. The image that Soldier provided was just the picture of an alien. I added the text to the image.
