Can anybody (especially friends from East Europe) provides us with more info on this f-a-n-t-a-s-t-i-c band?
Have they released anything, can we find recordings of theirs in better sound quality?
They are on the same vein as Magnit/Credo and released two videoclips in 1991 as per below:

Just a sort update : these guys hail from Georgia (ex-USSR part) and they have contributed with one simply a-m-a-z-i-n-g song in the ''Рок против террора" double live LP which was recorded on 6 April 1991, in Moscow.
Needless to say that 'Warning' stands out as the best cut in this LP. If you are interested in the rest of the compilation i can provide an upload link. In the meantime enjoy the 'Warning'! : http://mir.cr/Z4G3D8O1

This band is really worth searching for. I live in Moscow, but it will be very difficult even for me to find anything about this band. But I'm gonna try anyway. All I can say now, that vocalist Timur Bodjgua later started to sing pop music, you can find his various videos (mostly duets) on youtube

thanks for the update man! I made the mistake of watching his latter youtube videos! they are terrible!! anyway, I would be grateful if ypu could find more info on his early works with Мцыри !

Hm, mark as solved but there is no band topic from the topic starter..
Anyway, because I'm on mobile traffic right now I cannot download their stuff and create a proper topic for them.

Here is translation for basic facts about band:
- Was formed in 1974(!) in Georgia, Tbillisi town as a cover band which played soviet and non-soviet pop hits.
- In 1984 changed direction to hard rock with unique songs which were singing in English (for me they are matal band not hard rock, but I didn't hear these mp3 for myself yet).
- Meaning of word "Мцыри" (in georgian "მწირი") translates as:
1. A man who is in pre-monk phase. He is already lives in monastery (abbey) but still not in monk status. He is on trial period. I think it's someone at degree Novice or Rasophore (check Degrees section https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Degrees_o ... onasticism ).
2. Outlander, Foreigner. A man without relatives and close people who has come from abroad because of his own will or has been taken by force.
