MONOLIT is a thrash metal band from Mostar, started in the beginning of the 90s. They played
many festivals, of which the most famous is the one in Sarajevo where they played with great thrash
bands such as BOMBARDER, LUDILO, HELLER, ANNATHEMA.. They were working on a demo cassette
in the beginning of the 90s, but war discontinued their work, and separated them all over the globe.
The band was inactive from 1992 to 2006. Then, in remembrance to Zlatko, who was killed, the rest
of the former band, Predrag (guitar) and Slobodan (vocals) rerecorded their old hit song "Kletva".
New version of the old song awoke nostalgia in older fans, and the new crowd accepted the song very
well. That was decisive for the band to continue with their work, eventhough Predrag is in Norway,
and Slobodan in Canada, they restarted an old story called MONOLIT. More info at their Myspace Page.
