Cool old-school death metal from Italy. Maleficarum are a bit more technical than much of what was coming out of the American or German DM scenes at the time, but these guys weren't trying to be another Suffocation clone. They were clearly trying find their own sound on this album, and I think they were mostly successful in doing so.
