Info: Here is TKO's Combat Records follow up that was produced with a completely altered line-up from the one used to record their debut. Heck, even the line-up listed on the back of this vinyl with a band picture that included guitarist Adam Bomb was inaccurate. The truth is that it was a few of the members of the Q5 line-up that produced "Steel The Light," that along with singer Brad Sinsel recorded this excellent piece of hard rock. This was just the sort of music that you would crank up while driving around in a convertible with the top down in the heat of Summer. This is hard, catchy, gutsy, and provides just the right amount of attitude to accompany any size Saturday night party. This was a sealed piece of plastic until I cracked it open, spun it, and duly recorded it. My scans are included.

This is a long time favourite of mine.
It's a perfect collision of dirty Hard Rock hooks with a more Metallic guitar sound, all topped with Brad Sinsel's raspy but melodic vocals.
If this had come out on a major label a year or two earlier they would have been huge.
If you're unfamiliar with TKO, this is their finest work & therefore the best place to start.
    Very recommended.

This is my FAVORITE hard rock album from the 80's! Sinsel's Steven Tyler-esque vocals and that catchy as F*ck sound...

this actually came out as a demo w/ an extra song (Running Wild In The Streets) a couple years before it was pressed on vinyl . have never been able to find it. However, there is a Japanese pressing of this lp that has the extra track and a different mix that I believe is the same as the demo.

Nooooo. I believe the MM edition is the one that they couldn't find the tapes and someone ripped a vinyl lp and pressed it as a CD. Which ever version that is actually has a skip in it.

In your Face and Up your ass sounds as tape sourced. On the cover says "the unwatered down version of TKO's In Your Face"

In You Face & Up Your Ass is an Adam "Bomb" Brenner release. The band wasn't involved in the release. The tapes were pre In Your Face demos, don't believe everything you read.

Divebomb are the one who did the release from the vinyl rip. & in thinking about it, I seem to remember a 4th release of IYF that has the same mix as the Jap w/ the keyboards & extra track. I'll did through the archives & see if I can find the details.

I just know that Sinsel was involved with releasing this through Divebomb. I've listened to this rip next to the CD rip and they sound nearly identical, so the versions are the same. I actually prefer this vinyl rip to the Divebomb release. This record was sealed for years. I opened it only to record it, and the results are beautiful. In the Divebomb interview, Sinsel says that this album was recorded with the guys from Q5. He said by the time the recording was to be released, the band members went on to Q5 and the line-up for TKO was different. The label chose to picture the then current line-up opposed to the one that actually recorded the music. For years, most people assumed that the guys pictured on the back of the record recorded it.
