Alright, you guys want rare? You've got rare. Behold: the very first album release "Maybe... I Think We Can Beat Nirvana", by the popular rowdy Japanese hard rockers Electric Eel Shock. Now what makes this so rare? Apparently the production was far cleaner than what the band wanted, so production was halted rather quickly. It is uncertain how many copies of this album exist today, but it's probably under 100 copies, and the band themselves have distanced themselves far from it. It is so rare, that only about 10 of the most hardcore fans of Electric Eel Shock are known to have it, and who knows how legit that is. But here you go, my rip of this piece of garage hard rock goodness. Personally, I think it's a pretty awesome release, especially for a debut, and it's pretty garage-y and lo-fi as it is, so as to what it would sound like if it was even lower quality is something that is best left for your curious imagination lol. Granted, it's not as rowdy and metal-influenced as their later efforts, but it's still got that cynical bite that makes listening to Electric Eel Shock such a blast. But yeah, it doesn't get much rarer than this. Enjoy everybody!
And yeah, those three women on the cover are the actual mothers of the members of EES. Total brutality overload!! lol.
